Before we can do anything, we need to log in to the web app. The login details are the same ones used for the iPhone app.

Click Projects.

Click on your Project. It will be at the top of the list.

Click on your Session on the Project Overview page

Processing Calibration
Firstly press the +Calibration button.

Select the calibration video, this will auto-select the other phones based on your selection.

Look through the calibration and note down the clap and action times.

Press Save

Make sure each video is the identical calibration take.

Press Confirm

This will take you to the Calibration Details.

Title: Give your calibration a title. For example 'Calibration_1'

Actor name: Give your actor a name or choose an existing profile.

Actor Height in metres (m): You must do this in order for the system to accurately extract a person's bone lengths - this information is required in metres (i.e. 1.88m)

First clap start time: This is the time in the calibration when the clap for syncing starts - this helps to sync all the videos

Last clap end time: This is the end time of the clap - this will help the system synchronise more easily.

Calibration start time: This is the start time of the calibration. This should be inputted when the actor is standing in the Y-pose after the clapping.

Calibration end time: This is the end time of the calibration sequence. This should be inputted when the actor is standing in the Y-pose after calibrating the entire volume.

After this is complete press Save & Run

The calibration will begin processing. The processing time depends on the length of your calibration and the number of phones.

Once completed you will see a Green tick below Status. This means your calibration is successful.

If you have a red cross below status: this means your calibration has failed.

Contact support@move.ai if your calibration is unsuccessful.

Now we can create our takes.

Processing Take
Press +Take button

Select the take videos.
-
Look through the take and note down the clap and action times.

Click Save

Make sure each video is the correct take.

Press Confirm

This will take you to the Take Details.

Scene: Create a New Scene.
-
Title: Give your Take a Title.
-
Actor Number: You must tell the system how many actors are in the take, as this ensures it tracks all actors.

Prop: Here you can select if you have any props in the scene you would like to track. Currently, the platform only supports the tracking of a single football.

First clap start time: Input the time when the first clap starts.
-
Last clap end time: Input the time when the last clap ends.
-
Time take action starts: This is the start time of the action in your take. Always start your take when the Actor(s) in the video are clearly visible, holding the t-pose and not occluding each other.

Time take action ends: This is the end time of the action in your take, or when you want your animation output data to finish.

Press Save when everything is inputted correctly.

Select the calibration you want to use. This should be for the same iPhone positions as the Take you are about to process.

Fingers: ON or OFF. Depending on if you want finger tracking on your data.

Rigs: Select the Rig you want to retarget to. For this example, we're using the Move.ai_Male_rig_v3

Click 'Run' and your video will now start processing.

Once the take has been processed the status will get a green tick if it's successful.

Contact support@move.ai. They will help with failed takes.

From here click the session. This will give you four options.

Info: The settings chosen for this motion capture.
-
Result Preview: This gives a preview of your motion capture.

Sync: Allows you to check the clap synchronization.
-
Download: Gives you download options for your data.

Select which output option to download.
