# Reformatting the Z-Cams

To reformat the Z-Cams, you will need to do this through the Web browser

### Reformatting SD Cards

1. Open up your web brower
2. Input the cameras Ethernet IP Address: (e.g **10.98.32.1)** 
     1. [http://10.98.32.1/www/html/controller.html](http://10.98.32.1/www/html/controller.html)
3. Click **Settings \> Maintenance**
4. Click **Format Card** 
     1. You will be prompted to log in as an administrator before proceeding.
     2. The default username and password are below 
            1. Username: admin
            2. Password: Admin\_123
5. Either change the default password or click **Cancel**.
6. Open the **Maintenance** tab in Settings and click **Format Card** again 
     1. Once you are ready, click **Delete All Items**
