💡An Actor Profile contains the skeleton data for the chosen actor. Instead of estimating the bone lengths in each action take, the same Actor Profile can be applied to all of your takes, to ensure that the same bone lengths are used every time. This provides 1) consistency in the bone lengths in the pre-retargeted output data and 2) the highest-quality animation solve.
❗Note - we recommend performing a specific sequence of movements in order to generate an optimal and accurate actor profile, and only one actor should be present in the recording, as outlined here

- Enter the clap and action times:
- If your videos are already sync'd, untick the 'sync using claps' button, otherwise, watch the video and note down the following timestamps:
- The time the actor begins clapping
- If your cameras began recording at slightly different times, enter the time from the earliest camera.
- The time the actor finishes clapping
- If your cameras began recording at slightly different times, enter the time from the latest camera.
- The time the actor begins clapping
- Enter the action times:
- The time the actor begins the T-pose
- The footage will now be in sync, so enter the time from the earliest camera.
- The time the actor finishes the T-pose
- Again, enter the time from the earliest camera.
- The time the actor begins the T-pose
- If your videos are already sync'd, untick the 'sync using claps' button, otherwise, watch the video and note down the following timestamps:
- Switch the Action Take mode from Mocap to Actor Profile Creation
- Select an existing profile to overwrite it, or create a new one
- Actor profiles can be renamed from the Actor Profile list on the left hand side, by double clicking on the name
- Click Start on the desired Take, or use the Process All Takes button (far right in the project options bar to queue up all available takes).
- Note - A calibration must be processed before the Actor Profile can be created. This will be handled automatically if using the Process All Takes button.
